These are the people who make every day an adventure for your child

Heather Lomas
Managing Director
Hi, I’m Heather, and I hold a level 6 Early Years Teacher status qualification. I have come to early years later in my career, previously working in logistics and marketing alongside raising my own family.
I have a passion for Early Years education. I believe that high quality education and care can really give our children the building blocks they need for life. I am undertaking my Forest School practitioner qualification and love sharing my passion for the outdoors with our children.

Rachel McHugh
Area Manager
Hi, my name’s Rachel and I am very proud to be the manager of Little Explorers, I have been working here for almost 5 years, and I have loved every minute.
My pedagogical (teaching style) approach is centred around child led learning, I believe children learn best when they are together, developing skills from their observations and surroundings. With children having a role model, they can learn individually and open themselves to wider educational opportunities.

Charlotte
Manager
Hi my name is Charlotte! I am the joint manager here at Little Adventurers and have been working in childcare since the age of 15! I have my level 3 and also completed a foundation degree in early years education and care before going on to do my degree in children, schools and families.
I love working alongside the children, watching them learn and my favourite activity is anything that involves a bit of mess! In my spare time I love reading, spending time with my family and baking!

Becky
Manager
Hi my name is Becky and I am the joint manager here at Little Adventurers. I am level 3 qualified and have been working with children for over 16 years!
I love getting messy with the children, whether that be with paints, playdough, inside or outside jumping in puddles. I love the outdoor aspect of nursery and when I am not at work I love spending time with my daughter, paddleboarding and going on long walks in the countryside with my dog Rose!

Jenny
Adventurers
Hi, my name is Jenny! I have been awarded a BA HONS in primary education and music and I started my educational journey in 2002 where I was working in a local primary school. I had a short break and had 2 wonderful children, now aged 13 and 10 and I discovered that I love the early years here, at Little Adventurers. Creating imaginative and expressive teaching activities is my passion.
I volunteer with cubs and scouts in my spare time and love going on adventurers and making memories in the great outdoors. I also play the organ and I love singing and running.

Linsey
Adventurers
Hi I am Linsey and I am level 2 qualified and working towards my level 3 as an apprentice. I have worked with children for over 10 years and I love nothing more than seeing the children I work with grow and develop.
I love planning messy activities, from playdough to shaving foam and giving children experiences they may not get at home!
In my spare time I love baking with my 2 children, going on walks and spending time with my friends and family.
